Chase wore his Mizzou outfit for part of the day, along with his basketball rattle on his wrist. In the afternoon, Chase and Nanaw went for a walk, using the lightweight stroller that Aunt Becky and Uncle Mike gave Mama at Chase’s baby shower. Chase wore his black thug hoodie. Aunt Becky from Wells Fargo requested a frog outfit for Chase because it was Leap Day. So Chase wore a big-boy frog feet outfit to pose for a picture with Eeyore. Daddy and Mama went to the Family Arena in St. Charles with friends to see Jeff Dunham and Nanaw babysat.

Today was Chase’s first day at Nanaw’s house while Mama worked at home. The cats weren’t too sure what was going on: In the first photo, Mikayla checked out Chase from a distance; TJ kept his distance. The second photo shows Chase posing with his first friend of the day at Nanaw’s house – a white baby seal. The third photo is an almost smile. Chase listened to his Mama‘s book and a story about a spotted animal that wanted to be in the zoo; he also watched a Buzz Lightyear movie.

Oscar night! Nanaw came to visit and she and Mama made spaghetti for dinner – with much hilarity. Mama bought enough food to feed the neighorhood so there will be spaghetti in the future. Chase sat on the table in his boppie chair so he could be part of the fun – McKinley Malone was there also. Downstairs, he had "tummy time" on his blanket and managed to put his fist in his mouth. He also posed in Sam's purple loofah dog bed for his photo of the day. Nanaw bought a new bouncy chair for her house; wonderful Daddy put it together and Chase seemed to like it a lot.

Daddy, Mama and Chase went to see Aunt Jen and Uncle Joe and Jackson's in the morning for breakfast Chase got lots of presents and lots of Jackson's clothes. Mama won't have to buy clothes for a long time. Nanaw visited in the afternoon to take pictures of Chase in his spring thug outfit from Jackson but Mama took a better one later in the day -- with an almost-smile from Chase. Someday, he'll really smile!

First thing this morning, Chase sat in his bouncy chair in the hall watching Mama put make-up on. At noon, Chase spent time in his crib cooing at the mobile and listening to the music, as long as Nanaw kept it playing. Chase listened to the "Winter" book and the book Mama recorded. No walking around outside today because it was cold and very windy.

Today Chase listened to the "Goodnight Spot" book and the Mama book. He sprawled out on his play-yard watched Dr. Oz on televission. It was quite warm outside so Chase and Nanaw walked around the front yard, then went to the back yard to see Sam. They looked for kittens next door but none appeared. Earlier in the day, a kitten was sitting at the front door and Nanaw took its picture – but McKinley and Sam chased it away.

Today, Daddy spent half the day with Chase, then Nanaw came over so Daddy could have his check-up at the doctor. Today was also Chase's two-month doctor's appointment, and he had a wonderful check-up. He weighs 11 pounds, 10 ounces, is 23 inches long, and the circumference of his head is 16 inches. The doctor says he's right where he should be developmentally. Chase had three shots and a drink, and Mama made a joke about that. Chase screamed at the shots and had tears but a few minutes later was fine. The first photo is one we sent to Chase's Mama at work while Daddy and Nanaw were playing with him; the second photo is at the doctor's office.

Today was Mama's first day back at work and Nanaw's first day as Chase's granny-nanny. Chase and Nanaw listened to the book that Mama recorded for Chase so he wouldn't miss her too much. He recognized her voice and gave his wide-eyed look. When Mama came home from work, he heard her voice and  gave the wide-eyed look again. In the first picture, Chase is on the changing table, one of his favorite places -- Nanaw captioned the photo "Chase chillin' on the changin' table." The second photo shows Chase all dressed up for his date with Mama at a gathering of former AGE friends. Chase got lots of presents, including three Cardinals' onesies, several other outfits, a huge piggy bank, toys, a picture frame and gift cards and more.

Chase is two months old today on Presidents’ Day! Mama and Daddy had a holiday. Mama recorded the story book for Chase so he can hear her voice when she goes back to work tomorrow. Mama went to lunch at Reifschneiders with Aunt Becca, and then Nanaw came to visit to see the two-month photo. Nanaw brought the Gund bear to visit and to see if the thug hoodie and the puppy outfit will fit and they do! And the third photo is the cutest one ever -- bathtime with a duck hood!

Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky came to visit, and Chase wore his "My Uncle is Awesome" onesie. Nanaw bought an auto mirror for Chase so Mama and Daddy can see Chase’s face when they ride in the car. In the afternoon, the whole family went to Uncle George’s house so Daddy could help move a couch and a chair.

Daddy and Chase had a father and son adventure with their visit to Grandma Pat and Aunty Patty in Wentzville. Mama and Nanaw had a mother and daughter adventure at South County Mall, where Mama bought Chase two more outfits – another frog outfit and an awesome uncle onesie. Then they saw "The Vow" at Ronnie’s.

Aunty Karen came for a visit today and brought wonderful toys for Chase. Then Mama, Chase and Nanaw went for an adventure, starting with lunch at Jack in the Box followed by shopping at Sam's. Then there was a walk for Chase and Sam that involved a trek through a field with the all-terrain vehicle (aka Chase's stroller). Chase and Mama had dinner with Aunt Becky, Kole and Taylor at DiCarlos Pizza in Red Bud. Chase wore his frog feet outfit in the morning and his monkey outfit in the evening.

Mama's BFF, Auntie Alice, came to spend the day. For lunch, Mama, Chase and Aunty Alice went to Tequila's and Chase slept the whole time. He wore his Mommy's Hero outfit.

Mama, Chase and Nanaw went on another shopping adventure to Babys R Us, Best Buy, Fazzoli’s and Walmart. Chase got three new outfits! Mama and Chase wore lookalike "thug" hoodies.

Happy Valentine's Day: Chase, Mama and Nanaw had an exciting adventure visiting Mama's work. Chase was quite the hit and very well-behaved. Mama's boss held him most of the time. Below are pictures of two more of Chase's Valentine outfits.

Today Chase wore the first of his several Valentine's Day outfits. Mama and Nanaw fixed Uncle Kannon's No-bake Cookies to take to Mama's work tomorrow. However, it began to snow lots in the afternoon and Mama wasn't sure we could go.

Chase’s first outfit for Sunday was his convict striped suit. Then he changed into his "Mommy Rocks" outfit in honor of the Grammy Awards. Nanaw came over for dinner and to watch the Grammy’s. Mama fixed Chicken Tetrazzini, cheese garlic bread and brownies.
