Chase and Nanaw took a brief walk in the morning before the rain started. Chase spent a lot of time rolling around on the floor and seems to really enjoy it. In the evening, Nanaw came back to Chase’s house for Mama’s experimental pizza dinner (which was excellent) and bought Chase’s kitties for a visit. Sam’s toy of the day is the blue porcupine, back from Nanaw’s hospital.

Chase and Nanaw took the kitties, Kole (the black kitty) and Taylor (the gray and black striped kitty), to the vet to have them checked out. The kitties had a good first night at Nanaw’s and seem to love playing with each other. Chase enjoyed watching the three kitties at the vet, but Nanaw did not adopt them. Chase and Nanaw went for a walk and lost the "scary toy" and had to retrace their steps to find the toy. We call it the scary toy because it starts playing music all on its own. Sam’s toy of the day is the rooster that says cock-a-doodle-do.

Chase came to Nanaw’s house for part of the day today. Daddy was home and worked on the bar outside. Mama went into the office instead of working at home. When she got home, Chase, Mama and Nanaw went to Aunt Becky’s house to pick up his two kittens – that are going to live at Nanaw’s house. Becky’s children, Kole and Taylor, were excited to see Chase and hold him, and for his kittens to be named after them.

Happy Memorial Day to Chase! Mama and Daddy invited Nanaw over for dinner – they had steak, Bush’s baked beans, corn on the cob and Mama’s special brownies with yum-yum icing. Mama brought Chase’s high chair up to the kitchen for the very first time. He sat in the high chair for dinner. He also played in his Baby Einstein flying sauce and seems to really like it. Later in the evening, Mama took a picture of herself and Chase and e-mailed it to Nanaw.

On Sunday morning, Chase wore one of his many blue outfits but changed into his swim outfit and skull hat at Uncle Chris’s house for the pool party. Mama says Chase had a wonderful time riding around in his police car swim buggy in the pool and also had his first popsicle – which he loved.

Nanaw stopped by to visit Chase and take pictures on her way to Aspenhof. The bugaboo’s forehead scratch was all gone, and Nanaw felt so relieved. Mama fed Chase, then read "The Owl Babies" book to him. Chase showed Nanaw how good he is in his Einstein flying saucer and how much he likes it. Mama went to a winery in Grafton with Aunt Becca, Uncle Stan and Emery, while Daddy and Chase had a father/son adventure. In the evening, they had Kentucky Fried Chicken and Chase wore his buggy green outfit.

Chase spent the day at Nanaw’s house. They went for a long walk around the neighborhood, then Chase had breakfast at Nanaw’s bistro (the upper deck). Chase listened to the Spot Loves Daddy book and one other one that Mama sent. Nanaw injured the bugaboo when she changed his clothes and a snap made a scratch on his forehead – Nanaw felt devastated but Mama and Daddy told her not to worry, Mama went to dinner with Becky from Wells and Mary Miracle at Chavez in Soulard, while Daddy and Chase had a father/son adventure.

Chase and Nanaw went for an early morning walk, then had lots of play time with toys on the living room floor. Nanaw read Chase’s library books to him: "Spot Bakes a Cake," Miss Spider’s ABCs" and "Library Mouse." Chase and Nanaw watched the movie "Moneyball," and Chase seemed very interested in baseball. Sam’s toy of the day looks like an alien.
. In the evening, Mama sent Nanaw a picture of chase in a onesie because she knows how much Nanaw likes seeing him in a onesie.

After a morning walk, Chase had breakfast on the patio, or the bistro, as Mama calls it. Then he rolled around on the living room floor and skootched around – he’s trying so hard to learn to crawl. Daddy played golf in the evening so Mama, Chase and Nanaw went to Babys R Us and bought Chase a swim outfit and a swim buiggy for Uncle Chris’s pool party on Saturday. Then they all took Sam for a walk. Sam tore the stuffing out of his toy of the day – a blue porcupine.

In addition to a walk in the early morning, Chase and Nanaw went to laptime at the County Library. Chase met Alexa and Annabelle there, and he had a great time looking at the little girls and listening to the stories and the songs. Sam and his toy of the day are taking it easy.

Mama had the day off from work and so Chase, Mama and Nanaw had a day of adventures. They went for a long walk in the Dupo Park, including a trek through a wooded area where they got briefly lost. Then they went to Target where Chase got a hat with skulls on it, plus some clothes. He also got clothes at Old Navy. At Schnucks, he got a set of keys that’s small enough to fit in the pocket of his cargo shorts. Chase entertained Mama and Nanaw in this video by grabbing the spoon away from Nanaw and feeding bananas to himself.
