Chase, Mama and Daddy returned home today after their weekend trip to the Lake of the Ozarks. Nanaw tracked them on the Life 360 app on her iPad while she was in church and was excited to see how soon they would be home. Nanaw brought Sam home, and Mama was very happy to see her Samboni. Sam seemed especially happy when they all went for a walk, and he wore his new collar and leash.

Mama, Aunt Jen, Jackson and Chase went shopping at the outlet mall today. Chase got two outfits and a new puppy love named Herman. Sam got a new Rams collar and leash, and Mama bought Nanaw some delicious praline pecans – yum! Mama got new jeans, and Daddy got two baseball hats and two tee-shirts. Chase and Jackson played together and seemed to have a great time. Jackson has a tunnel, and he and Chase crawled through it. Dinner Saturday night was at a Mexican restaurant – Mama’s favorite. Everybody went to bed early after a busy day.

Today was the start of Chase’s road trip to the Ozarks. Nanaw came to say goodbye and to pick up Sam for his weekend sleepover at her house. Mama took some photos of Chase in his road trip outfit. Jackson came inside to visit before the trip, and Chase seemed to really enjoy seeing him. Chase seemed to have a good trip, with little fussiness. Mama sent photos from the car and from McDonald’s and a changing table. They’re staying in a house next to the TanTara golf course at Lake of the Ozarks.

Chase and Nanaw went for their early morning walk, even though it was still a bit foggy. Tomorrow Chase and his Mama and Daddy are heading off on an adventure – a trip to the Ozarks with his friend Jackson and Jackson’s mama Aunt Jen and daddy Uncle Joe. Sam is spending the weekend with Nanaw and Chase’s kitties. Nanaw came for an experimental dinner: meat loaf with onion soup. Sam’s toy of the day is a repeat from a few weeks ago – his blue and yellow puppy.

Chase and Nanaw couldn’t go for a walk in his subdivision this morning because it was raining so they went for a pretend walk downstairs and then for an outside walk in the afternoon. Later, Chase played with the empty diaper box at the end of his crib and also on the floor – he seemed to have fun with it. He’s also started pointing at things with his index finger. Sam’s toy of the day was a set of plastic keys – like Chase has, except for doggies. Late in the evening, Mama and Daddy dressed Chase in a fuzzy winter hat and gloves, practicing for winter.

Chase and Nanaw went for an early morning walk, their first in almost a week, and Chase fell asleep. Today’s adventure was Laptime at the Telegraph Road Library. Chase wore his Sam Bradford jersey, with the Will look, and was a handsome fellow. About ten little ones attended today, more than usual. Chase was quite the entertainer, laughing out loud at baby Ellie for a long time, then take baby Ashley’s pacifier. Chase also did his usual "worker man" activities on two of the strollers parked nearby. Nanaw came over for a delicious dinner of crockpot pot roast. Sam’s toy of the day was his crocogator.

No walk in the morning for Chase and Nanaw because it was too chilly; they took their walk in the afternoon when the weather warmed up. Today’s adventure was attending Mama’s department lunch at Wells Fargo. As usual, Chase was quite the hit. He let everybody hold him, crawled around on the floor (heading straight for the electrical cords, of course) and sat on Mama’s lap to eat a strawberry fruit bar. Chase’s favorite person was Jim – Chase seemed absolutely fascinated with him. Mama insisted that Chase wear his "My Mom Is Hot" bib. Later in the day at home, while Chase was in his crib, he went into worker man mode and knocked down his mobile and then dismantled it. Daddy will have to put it back together. Chase took his first step today – twice – and Mama and Nanaw saw it both times. Sam’s toy of the day was his new mummy.
