Chase’s first adventure on Friday was watching the two cartoons that Nanaw recorded for him. The cartoons starred Jingle, a very special puppy, and once again, Chase had stadium seating in his high chair in front of the TV. Chase’s second adventure was attending Laptime at the Clayton Library. He watched the other children and then crawled over to play with them and the toys. Some of Mama’s friends came to visit and to go to dinner with Mama – Aunt Kristen, Aunt Theresa and Aunt Kelley. Aunt Kelley brought Chase a set of animal cars, and he seemed to have a great time chasing them around the kitchen floor. Mama’s favorite was the elephant car, and Nanaw’s favorite was the crocogator.

Chase had two adventures today: watching A Charlie Brown Christmas and going to Walmart with Nanaw. Chase once again sat in his high chair in front of the TV for stadium seating to watch Charlie Brown, He seemed very engrossed in the video. This may be the last Christmas video so we may have to buy more or have reruns or check some out from the library. Chase and Nanaw played on the floor of his kingdom for a long while, and Chase walked a lot and laughed a lot. In the afternoon, Chase and Nanaw went to Walmart. The weather warmed up and it was quite pleasant outside. Sam’s toy of the day was his long black and brown dog.

Chase’s adventure for the day was watching "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town." Once again he had stadium seating in his high chair in front of the TV. And once again, he watched the video intently and seemed to enjoy the show. Chase and Nanaw spent a little time at Nanaw’s house today, and Chase got to see his kitties. Daddy, Mama, Chase, Sam and Nanaw went for a long walk before dinner, then Nanaw stayed for an experimental dinner of oven-baked parmesan chicken, which was a delicious success. Sam’s toy of the day was his skeleton, one of Mama’s Halloween presents to him.

Chase had several adventures today. The first one was Laptime at the Telegraph Road Library. Once again, Chase spent a lot of time looking at all the other boys and girls and also working on his stroller, as usual. We had a record crowd today – 13 children. Starting in January, Telegraph Road will have Laptime twice a month, on the second and fourth Tuesdays. After Laptime, Chase’s next adventure was a visit to Walmart where once again he was quite the hit with other shoppers and with the check-out lady. Then, back at Nanaw’s house, Chase and Nanaw watched Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer, with Chase in his high chair in front of the TV for "stadium seating." Mama had sent Chase’s Rudolf book along with him so he played with that at the same time he watched the Rudolf video. Chase played in his "Magic Kingdom" annex at Nanaw‘s house, and TJ and Kole came in to play with him. Nanaw put the baby gate at the end of the hall, Chase seemed to enjoy crawling back and forth in his very own "habitrail." Just before Daddy and Mama p0icked up Chase, Nanaw made a fire in the fireplace and Chase seemed to be fascinated by it.

Chase's big adventure today was watching his first Christmas cartoon: Frosty the Snowman. Nanaw placed his high chair in front of the TV to provide "stadium seating" for Chase. He watched the entire cartoon and was waving his arms and shouting at the TV so his adventure was a success. Tomorrow at Nanaw's house, the plan will be to watch Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Chase and Nanaw went to Nanaw's house for awhile today to pick up Nanaw's lunch, and Chase got to see his new table in his room and his new upside-down Christmas tree from Aunt Becky.

Nanaw went to visit Chase in the afternoon and took homemade turkey soup to Mama and Daddy. Chase, Mama and Nanaw played with Chase's toys in the "Magic Kingdom." Daddy was putting up Christmas decorations, and much to Mama's delight, he put up decorations and lights in the WE Bar. Mama took a photo and sent it to Nanaw.

Nanaw went to visit Chase, and they played in his "Magic Kingdom" for awhile. Nanaw got out his "Jingle" recorded book and read it to him. And Jingle barked and sang and growled when certain words were read. On Saturday, Uncle Mike suggested that Nanaw record the Jingle stories on Hallmark. Nanaw recorded them, then on Saturday realized the stories were about the dog in the book Mama bought for Chase after Christmas last year. Later in the day, Nanaw went to Goodwill and serendipitously found a table and chair for Chase's room. She also bought a Sesame Street school bus. Then Nanaw went for a walk in her subdivision and found Daddy and Chase's new church on a path at the edge of the subdivision.

Chase spent Friday at Nanaw's house while Mama worked at home. Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky came over to put up Nanaw's Christmas decorations, and Chase watched them work out the window of his room. Aunt Becky put garland around Chase's window on the outside, She also made him a very special upside down Christmas tree right outside his window so he can see it from his room. Mama and Daddy both got off early from work so Mama came to Nanaw's to pick up Chase in the early afternoon.

Happy Thanksgiving from Chase! Baby Chase had two Thanksgiving celebrations: the Southerland one at Aunt Terry's and the Ellerman one at Nanaw's. But before the holiday celebrations, Mama, Chase and Nanaw did the holiday traditions of going shopping at Walmart and Walgreens. At Walgreens, Mama bought snowmen Christmas lights for Chase's room, and Nanaw bought Santa Claus Christmas lights for his room at Nanaw's house. Once again, we attached Uncle Mike's birthday balloon to Chase as he crawled around, showing off his turkey butt. After Thanksgiving dinner, where Chase ate lots of mashed potatoes, Aunt Becky gave Chase a hair cut, and Uncle Mike let him play with the broom.

Chase and Nanaw went over to Nanaw's house for awhile today to see Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky. They were there putting up Nanaw's outdoor Christmas decorations. Chase seemed to take a real liking to Uncle Mike and seemed to want Uncle Mike to hold him and play with him. Downstairs at Nanaw's, Chase crawled around chasing after Kole and Taylor. but his kitties were too fast for him, and he couldn't catch them.
