Chase’s adventure today was going to Clayton Laptime. Miss Laura was there instead of Miss Jeannie – fortunately, Chase likes her also. Chase did his usual running around and having a great time. He had some of the little boys and girls following after him, and he seemed to enjoy that. After his nap, Chase and Nanaw went downstairs for "school." Chase watched Monster University, colored, played with the alphabet letters and jumped on the bed. Chase stayed with Nanaw till 8:30 p.m. because Mama and Daddy went to a happy hour. For dinner, Chase had corn, popcorn chicken and ranch dip – which he got all over himself and the high chair as usual. In the evening, Chase and Nanaw played in his room. Nanaw picked up all his toys and put them away, the Chase took them all out again and spread them on the floor. He thinks it’s his responsibility to make sure none of his toys are put away.

Chase’s adventure today was going to Tot Time at the Columbia Library. He did so much better today than the first time. H didn’t run around the room, and he didn’t fuss and cry when it was time to listen to a story. He didn’t exactly sit with the other boys and girls but he stayed in their vicinity. He seemed to be watching what they were doing and then would do the same things. This is great progress. He especially liked doing the crafts and wrote all over the scuba mask they were making with a variety of pencils. Fortunately, the scuba mask was laminated, and the pencil marks didn’t show up. After crafts, he sat at the table with the other children and played with the puzzles. All in all, it was an extremely successful day at Tot Time. After Tot Time, Chase and Nanaw went to the Telegraph Road library to pick up books for Nanaw, and then they went to Walmart. Nanaw let Chase play with her iPod, and he was totally engrossed and totally happy – he loves his devices!

For Chase’s adventure today, he and Nanaw went to Walmart early in the morning to do some grocery shopping. Nanaw bundled Chase up in blankets in the cart because it was really cold outside. Chase is a really good shopping companion – he smiles the whole time, and he sings songs as he rides in the cart. Chase and Nanaw played in his room, and then Nanaw let him play with his broom and mop (she usually keeps them put away because he bangs on everything with them.)

Chase’s adventure today was going to Laptime at the Telegraph Road library. Chase did his usual coloring, running around, and playing with the toys. One of the little girls followed Chase around, and he said a loud, friendly "Hi" to her – it was very cute. On the way home from the library, Nanaw let Chase play with her iPod. He seemed to have a great time with his flash card apps. But he gets so engrossed in it and so intense, that it’s probably better if he doesn’t play with it very often. After his nap, Chase and Nanaw played in his room, and then downstairs with the big train. One of these days, Nanaw will have to put the track together for him.

Chase’s adventure today was going to Babygarten at the Columbia Library. He ran around the room a lot, although he did sit on Nanaw’s lap for story time. He played with the toys and the other girls and boys. After Babygarten, Chase and Nanaw went to the children’s room in the library. Riley was there and she and Chase played with the toys and posed for a picture. After his nap, Chase and Nanaw played in his room, and Chase colored at the kitchen breakfast bar. Then they went downstairs for "school." Chase played with the alphabet letters and did a good job of identifying them. Then Nanaw let him play with the parts of the huge train set that Mama’s friend Jane from work gave him. Nanaw tried to put it together but the track is very complicated. When Chase went home, Nanaw realized she’d left Tee-Tee somewhere at her house. She went home and searched a long while for Tee-Tee and finally found him in Chase’s room, in the arms of the Lazy Boy raccoon. She took Tee-Tee back to Chase who was very happy to see his friend.

The first picture shown is from Aunt Becca from yesterday, with Chase standing by Uncle Stan’s truck, holding his wrench and other tools. Aunt Becca says Chase seemed excited to ride in Uncle Stan’s truck Saturday on the adventure out to Grandma Pat’s. On Sunday afternoon Nanaw went to visit Chase after his nap. Chase, Mama and Nanaw played in the living room with Chase’s toys. Mama decided to pick up all of Chase’s toys and put them in their proper locations. By the time Nanaw left, Chase had taken the toys out again – he was a very busy little boy. Mama said Chase seemed to have a really good time at Aunt Alice’s and Uncle Chris’s house last night. Of course, he mostly ran around from room to room but he did play with some of little Will’s toys.
