Nanaw went to visit Chase on Saturday morning, and he was so cute eating butter bread. After Chase finished his breakfast, they had fun playing with the iPad. Daddy was going to paint Mama’s bathroom and Mama was going grocery shopping so Nanaw offered to take Chase to her house to play until Mama was done grocery shopping. Chase and Nanaw had fun watching Up and playing with the shells Chase brought for Nanaw from Florida. Mama picked up Chase, and they went on a mother-son adventure. First, they went to Walmart where Mama bought two huge bags of kettle corn, one for her and one for Nanaw. Mama bought him several presents, including two little cars. Then they went to the McDonald’s by Walmart where Chase got to play in the play area with two little girls and a little boy. Then they went to the mall where Chase rode on two of the rides there. Mama said Chase was very good (except for crying when it was time to leave McDonald’s – to be expected). When Nanaw got to the little house, she saw there was a huge branch blocking the entrance ramp to the deck so she had to take the long way around to get into the house. She took pictures and sent them to Mama and Uncle Mike.

Mama went along with Nanaw to take Chase to school on Friday morning because she and Nanaw were taking her car to Dobb’s. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he wanted to know where Mama was. It was very cute. Nanaw told him that Mama was at home working. Then when Nanaw and Chase went to Des Peres Park for their Friday adventure, Chase wanted to know if Mama was coming. Chase had a really good time at the new park. He played at both the small and the big playgrounds. There were two little girls (or grils) there and Chase had lots of fun. It was too cold to go play miniature golf, so Mama, Daddy, Chase and Nanaw went out to dinner at Who Dat’s in Columbia. Nanaw got a yummy BBQ sundae and Chase had chips and cheese. For dessert, there was delicious banana gooey butter cake.

Chase's adventure for Thursday was a visit to his new favorite place: the Science Center. The first thing he did when he and Nanaw got there was put pennies down the coin rotary thing -- he enjoyed that. He found another one inside the Science Center, and Nanaw promised that next time they came, he could put coins down that one also. His favorite activity seems to be the balls that float in the air -- he didn't want to leave that display. He did all his usual things, plus more: played in the sand area, waved his hands through the smoke tunnel, dug in the dinosaur dig, played with the toy dinosaurs in the lab, played with several of the energy activities, threw the pretend coal in the pretend furnace, and played in the Mars Rover area. He did more things on Thursday than ever before. And despite all he did, he still not want to leave when it was time to go. After the Science Center, Chase and Nanaw went to the Grant's View Library, and Chase checked out two books (Up and Farm) and two movies (Transformers Robots and Thomas's Christmas). He chose them all himself and seemed to know what he was selecting -- very cute and smart.

Wednesday morning Chase told Daddy that it was his turn for the special book and treat and show and tell at school. But Daddy looked on the snack calendar and told him it was Alayna's turn and that it wasn't Chase's turn until May 16. So when Chase got to Nanaw's house, he told her that it was Alayna's turn for the special book. Nanaw got big hugs from Brady before and after school, plus a big hug from Chase after school. One of the first things Chase did when he got to Nanaw's house was put the other shopkin on the cabinet with the missing shopkin, as shown in the first photo below. Chase's Wednesday adventure was a trip to Powder Valley. It's been almost three weeks since Chase last visit to Powder Valley so he was very excited to go. There were lots of school buses and lots of boys and girls there, which made Chase very happy. He likes to follow the boys and girls around Powder Valley and do the same things they do. Chase visited his favorite displays and said hello to the fish, the turtles and the frogs. When Chase woke up from his nap, Uncle Mike was here, cutting Nanaw's grass. Chase was happy to see him and so was Mama, who came to pick Chase up so she could see Uncle Mike and give him the Blues and Cardinals decals she bought for his little red truck.

Chase's Tuesday adventure was a visit to the Train House. It had been almost three weeks since his last visit. Miss Linda was extremely happy to see both Chase and Nanaw. Nanaw found her favorite train, paint-splattered Thomas, and that made Chase very happy -- paint-splattered Thomas is one of his favorites also. Chase did his usual fun things: playing on the Thomas tables, in the kitchen, with the tracks and at the crafts table. He and Miss Linda made a major train craft. After the Creation Station, Chase got his popcorn, and then Chase and Nanaw went up the hill to go through the trains. Next, they rode on the train, the first time since last October. It was a great visit to the Train House. Back at home, Chase and Nanaw finished watching the Up movie, then Chase wanted to watch it again. Chase decided TJ needed all his toys from the cat toy basket so he piled them all into the pet taxi where TJ was sleeping.

When Chase got to school, as usual, he watered his flowers with the little spray bottle, and it was very cute. His adventure after school was going to Suson Park. First, Chase and Nanaw went to see the animals -- Chase still calls them ammamals. Nanaw was amazed that Chase remembered from last year where all the animals are and which way to go -- the little fellow has quite the memory. Of course, Chase's favorite thing is the playground so he was excited when it was time to go there. Several little boys Chase's age were there playing, which made it all the better. He does love playing with kids. Chase and the boys played for quite awhile, going up and down the slides, the climbing apparatus and the tunnels. Of course, Chase didn't want to leave but Nanaw lured him back to the car with the promise of chocolate milk and treats. After his nap, Chase and Nanaw watched more of the movie UP -- it's very fun for Nanaw to be sitting on the bed with Chase watching the movie together. When Nanaw took Chase home, Mama came home from Walmart and Schnucks with three new pair of pajamas for Chase, plus two Captain America Hot Wheels cars and a Toy Story mystery toy.
