Monday was Mama's 49th birthday, and she took the day off work and took Chase to school. At noon, Mama and Nanaw went on a shopping adventure, going first to Arby's for lunch. Then they went to Bath and Body at the mall and then to Walmart. Nanaw bought 4 cans of slime (sludge) there for Chase. They picked Chase up from school, then Mama took Sam for a walk while Nanaw stayed with Chase. In the evening, Mama, Daddy, Uncle Mike, Aunt Becky, Chase and Nanaw went out to dinner for Mama's birthday at Joe Boccardi's in Columbia. Daddy had a fish dish, Nanaw had a steak and everybody else had pizza. Nanaw had baked Mama's favorite cake for her: cherry chip. Mama got lots of Jack Skellington presents from Nanaw. Chase picked out an atomic clock for the kitchen for Mama. His remote control car that climbs up walls took out the other kitchen clock.
