Chase had the day off from school because it was Casimir Pulaski day. Casimir Pulaski was a Polish count whfo fought on the American side in the Revolutionary War. Chase's adventure for the day was a trip to the Science Center. Chase was very excited about getting to see all the dinosaur displays at the Science Center. His kindergarten class is studying dinosaurs, and Chase has become obsessed with dinosaurs. When Chase and Nanaw arrived at the Science Center, Chase told Nanaw he saw a dinosaur but Nanaw said she didn't see anything. On the way out, Chase asked if they could walk up the hill and look around for the dinosaur. So they did, and sure enough, Chase was right. There were two huge stone dinosaurs on the Science Center grounds -- a triceratops and a T Rex. Chase and Nanaw were both excited to see them. Inside the Science Center, Chase visited the Mars Rover, the energy room, the dinosaur dig, all the dinosaur displays, the sand, the boat races, and the cars. On the way home, they stopped at the library, and Nanaw checked out a big dinosaur book for Chase. They went downstairs for "school" and "center time." Chase is so cute about loving school and wanting to play school.
