Nanaw went to visit Chase on Saturday morning; she took along the two baby bunnies from Dollar Tree so they could spend the weekend with Chase's two baby bunnies. Nanaw also brought along Chase's workbooks. Nanaw asked Chase to come sit at the kitchen table with her, and he did. He got his blue box of markers and crayons out of his room, and for awhile, Chase and Nanaw drew pictures of all kinds of fruit. Chase called the drawings their "creations." He used phrases like, "As you can see," which makes him sound like his teacher, Mrs. Hermann -- very cute. Then they got out the workbooks and took turns doing a page (just like Chase wants to do in reading books -- he reads a page and Nanaw reads a page). When Mama got home from the grocery store, she was excited to show Chase and Daddy the green serpent / snake bread she bought for St. Patrick's Day. Chase was excited, too, and wanted a piece right away. Chase went to get his stuffed snake out of his room and Mama took a picture of Chase with the snake bread and the stuffed snake. In the evening, Chase went to the Blues hockey game with Mama, Daddy, Aunt Becca, Uncle Stan, Aunt Kristin and Uncle Chris.
