When Chase got to school on Thursday, the classroom was in chaos. Evidently, the leprechauns came overnight. They brought balloons and streamers and strips of construction paper were all over the floor. The leprechauns also emptied the totes on each table of crayons and pencils. The boys and girls were over the moon excited. Mrs. Herrmann claimed to know nothing about the leprechauns' visit -- wink, wink. When school was over, Chase came out wearing one red glove. Nanaw asked where he got it, and he said it was near the lost and found. Fortunately, the other glove was in his winter coat, which Nanaw had at her house to sew, along with a pair of his uniform pants. Chase and Nanaw went to Dollar Tree and bought another bunny, this time a white one, along with a clipboard, a ball, another workbook and an Easter Tic Tac Toe game. When Chase and Nanaw got home, all by himself, Chase painted the Easter egg he got at Dollar Tree on Wednesday, then hung it on his Christmas tree is his room -- so smart and so cute.
