Friday was an exciting day for Chase because he was going on a trip to Tennessee with Mama and Daddy. For the first time ever, he didn't bring the Thomas bag full of stuffed "amamals" to Nanaw's house. He didn't tell Mama why he didn’t want to bring "amamals" but Mama speculated that maybe he was afraid they wouldn't make it on the trip. Mama sent Nanaw all kinds of pictures of Chase as a little boy when they made other trips to Tennessee, including one of the brand new, beautiful blue Tee Tee. Mama and Nanaw picked Chase up from school. When the got back to Chase's house, Daddy and Aunt Becca came. They got everything packed, and Nanaw took Sam home with her, along with Sam's bag. Mama sent Sam's blanket along, and Nanaw put it on the couch that Sam likes to sleep on. He also likes to spend time at the front door, looking outside. Mama sent Nanaw a picture of Chase sleeping -- he'd fallen asleep awhile after they started driving.
