On Mother's Day morning, Chase gave his Mama the presents he made for her in kindergarten. He gave her colorful painted candle holder, a story book about his Mama shaped like a purse and two cards. Mama was very happy and touched by her presents. In the afternoon, Mama, Daddy and Chase went out to Wentzville to celebrate Mothers' Day with Grandma Pat. After they got home, they came over to Nanaw's house, along with Sam. Chase was very excited about Nanaw's Mothers' Day presents and wanted her to open them right away but Mama said they had to wait until after dinner. Chase played baseball outside with Daddy and then played with the cars he brought from home. After dinner, Nanaw opened her presents from Chase and his Mama and Daddy. One was a badminton set and the other is a baseball net that will help Chase and Nanaw perfect their throwing ability. Daddy put together the badminton net, and then Mama, Daddy, Chase and Nanaw played for awhile before going inside to have Mississippi Mud cake, made by Mama.
