On Thursday after school, Chase and Nanaw went to the Telegraph Road library. Chase made friends with a little girl there, and they played together for quite some time. They played with the magnetic blocks, building boxes and putting glass-encased insects inside. Chase told Nanaw, "Moths make cocoons also, you know." It was very cute. All on his own and with no help from Nanaw, Chase selected an I Spy and checked it out with his own library card -- Nanaw was so proud. On the way out of the library, Chase and Nanaw stopped at the "bending" machine and Chase picked out a nutrigrain bar, much to Mama's surprise when Nanaw told her. In the evening, Daddy stopped at Nanaw's house on his way home from work to put up the badminton set. But instead of badminton, Chase wanted to play volleyball so that's what he and Nanaw did. Chase had a baseball game and seemed to have a really good time. He got a hit every time at bat and did some good fielding. He's basically obsessed with baseball and other sports but has a lot of fun with it.
