After Nanaw dropped Chase at school, she saw Brady's mom and Sami's mom on the parking lot and stopped to talk to them. They're both really good friends of Mama. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he was very excited because his book order came and he got his packet of pictures. The pictures are very good; Chase look s so grown-up -- much to Nanaw's dismay. Chase unpacked his back pack to look at all his books. He was happy about getting Humphrey the Hamster and a rock collection. When Chase and Nanaw got home, Daddy came to put up the baseball net in Nanaw's front yard. After he left, Chase and Nanaw played baseball for awhile. The net works really well to catch baseballs so Nanaw doesn't have to go chase them. It also provides a Nanaw a place to aim her pitches. After baseball was over, Nanaw and Chase went inside and played with Play Dough. Nanaw had set up a plan and an agenda for their afternoon. Another thing they did is to have Chase read his sight words -- which he did perfectly. 93 words and not a mistake or a hesitation -- he read them so fast that Nanaw had trouble keeping up in turning the words over to the next one. What a smart little boy!
