On Saturday morning, Nanaw didn't go over to Chase's house to visit him because he and Mama and Daddy were coming out to the little house in the afternoon. They got there about 1 o'clock. They had stopped at Taco Bell and brought Nanaw a crunch wrap supreme. Chase had a cheese quesadilla and said he really liked it although he didn't eat all of it. Chase spent a lot of time outside at the little house, breaking lots of sticks against the trees. He went fishing with Daddy; they didn't catch any fish but Daddy got a bite. In the afternoon, they went for a ride to Warrenton to see where the new Schnuck's is going to be. They also drove to the outlet mall that now only has three stores; it used to have 40 or 50. Then they went to Washington for KFC (or Kentucky Fried Chicken, as Nanaw calls it.) In the evening, they went for a walk to the little lake. Then they went down to the big lake for the fireworks demonstration. It was absolutely magnificent and very long. They actually left before it was over. Chase had a really good time at his little house adventure.
