On Sunday evening Chase fell on the patio and skinned his knee. So on Monday morning, he asked Nanaw to call Mama and have her call the school to tell them he couldn't come to school because of his hurt knee. Of course, Nanaw refused -- and laughed. After school, Chase and Nanaw went to the Columbia Library to register Chase for Tales to Tails next Tuesday where the children read to dogs. Next they went to the Telegraph Road Library to return and pick up books. Chase had a soccer game in Collinsville. Unfortunately, the other team was second graders and they beat the ICS team badly. Nanaw ordered a stuffed animal for Chase from Amazon -- Biscuit from the books. It came after Nanaw and Chase left, so when they got back from the soccer game, Nanaw went home to pick up Biscuit. She took it back to Chase's house, and he was so excited to get Biscuit.
