On Thursday morning before school, Chase was in his room at Nanaw's playing with toys and watching TV. He told Nanaw he would play for awhile longer rather than getting dressed for school. Nanaw laughed but disagreed and made sure Chase was dressed and ate breakfast before they left for school. Nanaw took Sidney Crosby the Cat to the vet for his checkup, and he was really frightened. One of the techs, Lisa, managed to calm him down. It turned out that she fostered Sidney along with two of his siblings while they were awaiting adoption. The vet told Nanaw about the three kittens that people from the vet adopted -- two had six toes like Ernest Hemingway's cats. They named them Midnight, Echo and Gidget -- cute names. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he told her he had chicken fries for lunch, and they were good. He said he was going to ask Mama to learn how to make them. He was also unhappy and crying about a boy taking his water bottle from him. It happens a lot, and he said he was going to have Mama talk to him. He also said the boy pushed him. So Mama has a lot to take care of it. After school, Chase and Nanaw played in his room with one of his race tracks and cars and with his classic Legos.
