On Tuesday night, the book Biscuit for Chase arrived, and Nanaw took a picture of it and texted it to Mama. Mama said Chase texted back Yay. Chase and Nanaw got to school early again because Nanaw left early, taking the long but safe way. Nanaw got to see Emma when she picked Chase up -- cutest little girl ever. Chase forgot his water bottle so Nanaw will have to find another for him. He said he wanted to go to the Columbia library so he could check out some Minecraft books. His first grade class visited the library today, and he must have seen them then. Mrs. Neff sent out a picture on seesaw showing the boys and girls listening to a story in the children's section of the library. So Chase and Nanaw went to the library. Chase selected four Minecraft books and The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss. When they went to checkout the books, Miss Annette, Chase's friend fro all the library programs Nanaw took Chase to, was there, and she checked out his books. Nanaw told her that his class had come to the library that day, and she said she was sorry to miss them. She usually does those orientation programs but didn't know that his class had rescheduled. Chase was very cute, talking to her and telling her about the Minecraft books and about his class walking to the library. When they got home, Chase and Nanaw went downstairs and played school with the Minecraft books. In the evening, Daddy was taking Chase to get a haircut because picture day is Friday. Nanaw texted Mama and asked her to send a picture of Chase with his haircut, and she did.
