Mama had the day off so she took Chase to school on Monday morning. Mama and Nanaw were planning to go to see the A Star is Born at Ronnie’s on Monday morning but Mama decided not to go because of the weather forecast for snow. She was afraid they would get snowed in across the river and wouldn’t be able to pick Chase up from school. So they’re going to go on Sunday afternoon instead. Nanaw returned all of Chase’s weather books to the Columbia library on her way to pick Chase up from school. After school, Chase and Nanaw watched the weather channel together. Chase is currently still obsessed with weather. He kept talking about the winter storm advisory. It’s really cute – he’s just like his Uncle Mike. He told Nanaw that he played Roblox by himself at first recess. At second recess, after a spaghetti lunch, he played with AJ, and a kindergartner hit both of them. They told Mrs. Sullivan about it. At third recess, the class stayed in their classroom because it was snowing outside. Chase said he played Math Racing on an iPad and that he was a champion. On the way out of school to Nanaw's car, he kept trying to catch a snowflake on his tongue and finally did. So Nanaw took pictures of him trying to catch snowflakes on his tongue. He wore his new shoes from shoe Carnival to school today; he said Brady had new shoes also. Nanaw told him that Brady got his new shoes at the same place Chase did.
