When Nanaw took Chase to school, it took her longer than usual to hang up his backpack and coat in his locker, so he grabbed his water bottle and green folder from Nanaw and said, "I'm going in!" It was very funny. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he told her that they didn't have to go pick up a paper. He was referring to the times that he left a drawing out by the statue during recess -- very funny. Chase watched the weather channel when they got back to Nanaw's house. He was very excited to hear about the upcoming snowstorm. He was hoping for a snow day. For a long while, he played on the laptop while watching the weather channel -- multitasking at age 6 1/2. Later in the evening, Mama called Nanaw to tell her she'd been notified that ICS was having a snow day on Thursday but Chase didn't know about it because he was already asleep.
