Chase had a busy day on Saturday. Nanaw came over to visit first thing in the morning, before she went out to the little house. (When Nanaw got to the little house, she saw that a tree was leaning on the power line from her house. So she called Cuivre River Electric Coop, and two very nice, handsome men came out and cut down the tree. That made Nanaw happy.) Chase and Nanaw played math and spelling games at the kitchen table. Later in the morning, Mama, Daddy and Chase went to the baseball field. Before his baseball practice, Chase and his team posed for baseball pictures -- individual photos and team photos. After baseball practice, Mama, Daddy and Chase went to Phoebe's graduation party in Webster Groves. Chase played with some of the boys his own age for awhile. Then he played with his favorite, little Will. Everybody watched the Blues game for awhile. Then Mama, Daddy and Chase headed home because it had started to storm. Everybody was very unhappy because the Bruins clobbered the Blues, 7 to 2. Better luck next time!
