Chase and Nanaw had a major adventure on Wednesday: visiting the Science Center. They had a slight problem getting there because their preferred route was closed. They finally got there by way of Lindell and Skinker, a really long way. Chase was very excited about the new things they've done. They removed all the displays in the hallway leading from the Planetarium to the Science Center and hung huge colorful posters. It looks like they're going to be adding more displays. Chase and Nanaw visited Chase's friends, the chickens. Then he went inside the agriculture building and spent a lot of time playing with the corn display. Next, they went to Chase's favorite place: the water area. He played there for a long time and had great fun. They also visited the game area and played foosball and floor soccer. For the first time ever, Chase and Nanaw did the mind ball experiment where you wear a headband and use your mind to move a ball. Excitingly enough, both of them were able to move the ball. It was a very successful visit to the Science Center, and they'll go back soon. On the way there and back, Chase read today's book: The Nightmare Before Christmas by Tim Burton, for Mama's designated holiday: Jack Day. All the Jacks came to visit. All on his own, Chase took a nap in the afternoon; the Science Center must have worn him out. Chase's baseball game was cancelled because of the rain. Mama and Daddy let the little fellow stay up to watch the Blues win the Stanley Cup!!
