Saturday was a major adventure for Mama, Daddy, Chase and Nanaw. Mama brought Chase over to Nanaw's house at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning so that he could ride out to the little house with Nanaw. Mama, Daddy, Sam and Sylvester came out there a little later. Mama brought sub sandwiches for them to eat at lunch. Nanaw had delicious shrimp. After lunch, Chase and Daddy played baseball. Mama and Nanaw took Sam and Sylvester for a walk down the road. Daddy and Chase went fishing down at the little pond. Mama and Nanaw walked down there to see them. They didn't catch any fish but had fun fishing; Daddy got a few bites but no fish. Next, they went down to the big lake and went for a walk on the troll bridge path. Daddy and Chase only went halfway on the walk; they went to the little fishing dock and went fishing again. But once again, they didn't catch any fish but had fun anyway. When they got back to the little house, Daddy built a fire in the Weber grill that belonged to Aunt Joan. They had hot dogs, Italian sausage, Bush's baked beans and Caesar salad. For dessert, Mama brought Bunny Bunny Tracks ice cream. Nanaw said she didn't want any, then said she'd have just a taste. Then she ate two big bowls because it was so yummy.
