It was foggy, misty and muggy this morning as Chase and Nanaw went for an early-morning walk in his subdivision. Chase spent the morning zooming around the kitchen in his bugaboo chair, which seems to be his favorite thing to do. Mama wanted a picture of Chase in his I love Mom outfit so Nanaw took a photo but couldn’t elicit a smile from baby Chase. Sam’s toy of the day, delivered to him at the front door where he was on the lookout for other puppies, was a blue puppy.

Chase and Nanaw went for an early-morning walk in his subdivision. Then, because the weather was so nice, they sat out in the WE bar for awhile, with Chase in his outside activity chair. Chase spent time zooming around the kitchen in his bugaboo chair, sitting in his Einstein activity chair and in his Madagascar chair, playing with the shape sorter box.  McKinley Malone decided the Madagascar chair looked like a comfy place to take a nap so she did. Sam’s toy of the day, delivered to him as he lay under the ottoman, was a fox-wolf-looking toy with no stuffing.

Mama sent a photo of Chase in his rainy day outfit of athletic pants. He sat in his Madagascar chair and played with his shape sorter toy again and seemed to really enjoy it. Mama took a picture of Chase napping with his cat McKinley Malone. Nanaw came over for an experimental dinner of roast beef sandwiches, which were delicious. Nanaw laid down in Chase’s Madagascar chair and found it very comfortable. Daddy put up the gate in the living room and Chase tried to escape by pushing against it. After dinner, Chase zoomed around the kitchen in his bugaboo chair.

Mama sent Nanaw a picture of Chase zooming around the kitchen in his bugaboo chair. Unfortunately, Chase’s police car floaty thing for the afternoon swim party at Uncle Mike's was out at Uncle Chris’s so Mama went shopping for a new floaty thing. She found one, but doesn’t like it as much as the police car. But the exciting thing is that at Toys R Us she bought Chase a Madagascar chair that opens out – he seems to enjoy playing in it. She also bought him a shape sorter and a cell phone to stay at Nanaw’s house. She took pictures of the shape sorter and the Madagascar chair and put them n Dropbox so Nanaw could see them and use them in Days of Chase.

Chase and Nanaw went for an early morning walk in her subdivision, then Chase did his bugaboo chair zooming around in the kitchen and chasing his kitties. Nanaw put Chase in his two bouncy chairs to see if he could overturn them like he does his one at home. He couldn’t overturn them but he did turn over on his stomach and looked like a turtle. Mama sent Nanaw a picture of Chase asleep.

Chase and Nanaw went for long walk in his subdivision and thought it might rain but it didn’t. Chase played in the bugaboo chair for a long while, zooming around the kitchen and throwing toys on the floor. In the afternoon, he played on his play yard and on the blanket, with toys spread everywhere. Nanaw came for dinner, and they had Mama’s special pizza where she tried a new crust.

Chase and Nanaw went for an early-morning walk in this subdivision before going to Babygarten at the Columbia Library. Today’s session was the last one until sometime in September. Carter was there and so was Audrey and her brother Blake. Chase seemed to enjoy watching the other little children, as always. Carter pushed Chase in his stroller. Back at Nanaw’s house, Chase rolled around the kitchen in his bugaboo chair, chasing his kitties, and then he rolled around on the living room floor playing with his toys. Sam‘s toy of the day was his green alligator, which he got out of his toy box last might.

Chase came to Nanaw’s house today because Mama was working at home. Chase and Nanaw went for a walk in her subdivision, and Nanaw took a picture of chase with stuffed animals wearing his outgrown clothes. Then went to Laptime at the Telegraph Road library. There were two girls and two boys there: Sully, Sebastian, Annabelle and Molly, Chase seemed to like watching them during the session and in the play time afterwards. Uncle Mike and Aunt Beck came over in the evening and everyone went to Taco Bell for supper, then came back to Nanaw’s house. Chase rolled around on a big quilt on the living floor and played with his toys.

First thing in the morning, Chase and Nanaw went for a walk in his subdivision. Then Chase spent lots of time rolling on the floor, doing his lunging crawl and sitting in his Einstein. He seems to be able to happily entertain himself for long periods of time. He took a nap in the morning and one in the afternoon and played in the bugaboo chair in the kitchen in the afternoon. Mama and Daddy were at a happy hour at Harry’s with an out of town friend, so Nanaw took Chase over to her house late in the afternoon. Daddy picked him up there about seven. Sam’s toy of the day was a tiger/lion loofah thing, which he took with him onto the couch and then onto the chair when he moved there. Mama says Chase’s Cardinals’ romper is getting too small so she’s looking for another one.

Nanaw came to visit when she got home from Aspenhof and stayed for Fettuccine Al Fredo with wheat pasta. Chase was playing with water bottles and labels from the bottles in the bugaboo chair and in his high chair. He seemed to enjoy playing with the water bottles, especially when they made crinkly noises.
