Chase had an exciting park adventure on Tuesday. Nanaw told Mama she wanted to take Chase to a park so Mama recommended BeeTree Park. First, Chase and Nanaw drove through Sylvan Park but it didn’t have a children’s playground. Then they went to Bee Tree Park and had a wonderful walk around the playground and the grounds and went to look at the mansion that overlooks the Mississippi River. Chase and Nanaw will definitely go back to BeeTree Park. In the afternoon, Chase played with his toy box and toys in the hallway at Nanaw’s house and seemed to have a great time going from toy to toy.

Chase spent the day at Nanaw’s house, and first thing in the morning, Chase and Nanaw went for a walk in Nanaw’s subdivision. On the walk, one of Nanaw’s neighbors came out to show Chase two darling ducklings. Chase seemed really excited to see them. Nanaw made up a story for Chase about his wagon and Sam and lunch meat. Chase probably had no idea what Nanaw was saying but he listened very closely. When Chase got home, he smiled when he saw Mama but when Nanaw took away the can of Puffs he was playing with, he started to cry and didn’t stop until Daddy, Mama and Sam took him for a walk.

Chase and Daddy went to Mass on Sunday morning but Chase was a bit fussy. But he was wearing his blue oxford cloth shirt and khakis. Nanaw came over in the afternoon to play with Chase and take pictures. Chase, Daddy, Mama and Nanaw went outside to play in the back yard. Daddy measured a place in the back yard for the new swing set that Daddy and Mama bought for Chase. Chase seemed to have a really great time running around the back yard and playing with his wagon, his motorcycle and his golf clubs. After play time, Daddy, Mama, Chase and Sam went for a walk, and Nanaw went home.

Nanaw went to Chase’s house early on Saturday before going to Aspenhof. Nanaw took pictures of Chase playing with his big dump truck. Then Chase had breakfast and one of the things he ate was a banana – one of his all-time favorites. Nanaw gave him a spork and he did amazingly well in spearing pieces of banana and putting them in his mouth. Chase’s adventure for the day was going to his friend Jackson’s house for dinner, along with Mama, Daddy, Uncle Joe and Aunt Jen. Mama promised to take pictures. She took one of Chase in just his diapy at Jackson's house with Dolly dog and e-mailed it to Nanaw.

Chase first adventure of the day was going to the Clayton Laptime. He seemed to have a lot of fun playing with two twin boys named Westin and Rowen who are a month younger than Chase Westin and Chase pushed the toy car around the room with Nanaw’s supervision – it was very cute to see. Sam spent the day at Nanaw’s house also because Mama had to go into the office – Sam seemed to have a lot of fun chasing the kitties – the kitties, not so much. Chase’s second adventure of the day was going out to dinner at Bully’s Smokehouse with Mama, Daddy, Aunt Kristen, Uncle Chappie and Nanaw. Nanaw invited herself along because she’d never been to Bully’s. Chase had chicken fingers, French fries and green beans and as always, did a great job of eating

Chase and Nanaw spent the day at Chase’s house, and he had two small adventures today. The first adventure was a trip to Walmart, which Chase always seems to enjoy. When Chase and Nanaw were in the checkout lane, Chase took off one of his shoes and seemed to enjoy waving it all around. Nanaw quickly put it back on so he didn’t lose it. Chase’s second adventure of the day was playing in the backyard – Sam and Nanaw were there too. Chase played with his motorcycle, pulled his wagon around, did a lot of foot stomping on the plywood cover of the steps to the man cave and found sticks to play with. Unfortunately, Chase didn’t want to come in the house and fussed a lot about that. But as usual, he quickly quieted down and played with his toys. Sam’s toy of the week was a blue plastic bone from his Christmas stocking.
