Chase had two adventures today. The first was going to Aunt Nona’s baby shower at Grandma Pat’s and Aunt Patty’s house in Wentzville. Mama said Chase was very helpful to Aunt Nona when she was unwrapping presents, tearing at the wrapping paper and pulling tissue out of the bags. He also kept visiting Thumper the bunny in Aunt Patty’s room. One time, he took Mama in to see the bunny, which Mama said was very cute. Chase’s second adventure was attending a very elegant dinner party presented by Mama and Uncle Mike, with Daddy, Aunt Becky and Nanaw. Somehow, Mama and Uncle Mike felt challenged to prepare a special dinner, and they certainly did that. The menu include stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, Chicken Marsala, Caesar salad, garlic breadsticks and cheesecake for dessert. It was a wonderful meal and a wonderful evening.

Happy day after Thanksgiving! Chase spent the day at Nanaw’s and seemed to have a great time running around the house, playing with the Nativity scenes and his little cars and trucks. Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky came over to put up Nanaw’s outside Christmas lights, and Chase was fascinate with that. After his nap, Chase went out in the front yard and investigated everything: the big Nativity scene, the snowman family, all the lights, the big ornaments hanging from one of the trees and his upside down tree. He handled the big hammer and started to climb the ladder. Naturally, he wasn’t very happy when Mama came to take him home – he wanted to stay playing outside. But Mama told him he would be very excited about the friends who were coming to visit tonight: Auntie LaLa, Uncle Chris, Phoebe and Will. Mama said Chase will surely have a great time.

Happy Thanksgiving! Happy Turkey Day! Lucky Chase had two Thanksgiving dinners to visit. First, he went to Uncle George’s and Aunt Sharon’s house. He played outside and jumped on the trampoline, which Mama says he really seemed to enjoy. Mama also said that Chase mainly ate desserts. At Nanaw’s house, Chase his usual running around¸ looking very cute in his cardigan sweater. He ate a little bit of most things but enjoyed the chocolate milk, grapes and Cool Whip most of all. He played with a drawing app on cousin Natalie’s iPad with cousin Nichole and seemed to have a great time with it so Nanaw will get one for her iPad. Chase wore his skeleton jammies for night-night and looked very cute.

Today was a "school" holiday for Chase because it’s the day before Thanksgiving. Nanaw had a special treat for Chase’s holiday: watching the "Monsters University:" movie. Chase and Nanaw also ran errands today: to Walgreens, Walmart and the library. Nanaw came over for a special night before the holiday dinner of Chinese food – fried rice, crab rangoon, and sweet and sour chicken. After dinner, Chase did stadium seating (that means in his high chair) in front of the living room TV to watch Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer with Mama, Daddy, Sam and Nanaw. Amazingly enough¸ Chase did fairly well at watching Rudolph.

Today’s adventure for Chase was going back to the Telegraph Road Library Laptime. It’s been two months since Chase last went to that Laptime – he was going to Babygarten at the Columbia Library. When Chase and Nanaw got to the library, Miss Kim was standing outside the door, and she said "Hi, Chase!" It was so cool that she remembered his name. Chase did fairly well sitting on Nanaw’s lap and taking part in the songs and stories – better than at Clayton Laptime. When the toys came out for play time, he was as excited as ever. He spent most of his time at the table coloring – or mostly taking the crayons out of the box.

Chase has a new obsession: playing with the Nativity scenes on Nanaw’s coffee table. He played with the figures and walked the animals around on the table. While he was pushing his little car around the house, he went into the laundry room and ran into the kitties’ food and got it all over the floor. Later in the morning, Chase and Nanaw went to the post office and then to Walmart. At Walmart, Chase got to see all the lit-up Christmas trees and once again said "Wow" when he saw them. Mama says that when Chase went home, Daddy took him outside to play for awhile and that Chase was happy about that.

Chase went to church with Nanaw today while Mama and Daddy went to the Rams football game. Mama had Chase wear his Rams jersey to give the team luck – and it worked! The Rams won 42 to 21. Chase seemed to have a grand time playing with all the toys in the "cry" room. Of course, he headed for the cars and trucks first. It’s really cute how much he likes cars and anything with wheels. He tried to climb into the baby swing but couldn’t manage it so Nanaw put him in the swing. People waved to Chase through the glass window in the room, including the minister who made a funny face at him. After church, people said hello to Chase and one man did high five and Chase did it right back. After lunch, Chase took a really long nap – he slept almost until Mama and Daddy got home from the football game.

Today’s adventure was Uncle Mike’s birthday dinner at Nanaw’s house in the evening. First thing in the morning, Mama and Nanaw went shopping at Sam’s for a dessert for dinner, and Daddy took Chase outside to play, his favorite place. Nanaw babysat with Chase while Daddy went to Troy for baby Eli’s baptism and Mama went grocery shopping. Mama, Chase and Sam came over to Nanaw’s house about 4 p.m. to help Nanaw. Chase seemed to have a really good time with his Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky and all his cousins. He especially liked sitting on the couch with cousin Nichole and playing with her phone. He also liked listening to the Jingle book with the Jingle dog. Cousin Nichole brought Chase a Thomas the Train cookie from the bakery where she works – very cute.
