Nanaw came over to visit Chase and Mama while Daddy went to the Easter Eve Vigil Service. Mama fixed Nanaw’s music on her iPod touch. Mama read the Baby Owl book to Chase – she loves to say in a high-pitched voice: "I want my Mommy."

Nanaw stopped by to visit Chase before she went out to Aspenhof. He did a lot of smiling and was wearing a cute outfit with a puppy on the front. Sam, Chase and Mama went for a walk; Daddy was golfing with Uncle Chris, Aunt Kristen and Uncle Will-Bill. Chase and Mama went to lunch at Mama Josephine's with Aunt Becca and her friend Brea, and then they went for a walk in Tower Grove Park.

Chase and Nanaw went for two walks even though it was sort of chilly outside. Chase wore his navy blue hoodie and looked very stylin’. Chase did lots of smiling and posed for pictures with his baseball and glove. Mufasa spent some admiring himself in the mirror where Chase looks at the baby in the mirror. Sam’s toy of the day was the poor, torn-up Mufasa cat.

Chase and Nanaw went for two walks today – Chase was awake for the first one but slept through the second walk where we had scary dogs barking. Chase wore his Cardinals’ finery in preparation for the opening game. He doesn’t much like his baseball cap so there’s no good picture of him in it. Mister Sam’s toy of the day is a green loofah.

Chase spent the day at Nanaw’s, and they went for a walk. Chase was a little bit fussy so Nanaw had him listen to the book Daddy recorded for him, and that did the trick -- Chase stopped fussing. He also sat out on the back deck for awhile and seemed to enjoy the outdoors.

Chase and Nanaw had an adventure at the Columbia Library, where Chase checked out a book: "Baby Owls." Chase played in his play area and listened to Daddy’s and Mama’s recorded books. He liked hearing Mama say "Hi Sam" in the middle of Daddy’s book. He jumped at the sound of Mama’s voice and then gooed and cooed. Nanaw stayed for dinner, which was Daddy’s delicious grilled chicken, Sam’s toy of the day is Stretch, the long puppy Mama bought for him at Marshalls Friday (Nanaw held the puppy up to Mama and said "Please take me home." And Mama couldn’t resist.
