Major day for Chase! He rolled over for Mama and Daddy in the morning. When Nanaw came to visit, he rolled over again, and Nanaw taped it. Sam is in the background rolling over also.

Today was the home opener for the Cardinals. Mama had an opening day party for Chase, Daddy, Uncle Mike, Mama and Nanaw. We had Uncle Mike’s amazing burgers, suddenly salad and Mama’s low-fat taco dip – yummy! Uncle Mike made a tiny burger for Chase.

Chase and Nanaw went on an adventure to the post office, car wash and library. Then they went on the walking trail in the park next to the library. Nanaw took a picture of chase with the three bunnies he received for Easter: E-Bunny, Pillow Bunny and Thumper. Sam’s toy of the day was an elephant, one of Mama’s favorite animals.

Chase came to Nanaw’s while Daddy continued to work on building a bar on the patio. Chase listened to the Mama-recorded book and his new Miss Spider book Mama bought for him. He wore the moose outfit that Aunt Joan bought for him – Nanaw’s favorite.

Chase came to Nanaw’s while Daddy worked on building a bar on the patio. Chase and Nanaw’s activities included an afternoon walk, watching the movie "A Bug’s Life" (chase fell asleep), listening to the Daddy-recorded book and reading the "Happy Easter, Biscuit" book Chase received from the Easter Bunny. (On Thursday, Nanaw will take a picture of Chase with the three bunnies he received on Easter.) Mama picked Chase up from Nanaw’s after work, and took Sam for a walk. Then Chase and Mama went out to dinner with Aunt Kristen and Aunt Teresa at Joe Boccardi’s.

Chase, Mama, Daddy and Chase went to the zoo – Chase’s very first visit. Chase was very well-behaved, and Mama, Daddy and Nanaw we re pretty good too – they all had a wonderful time. Mama and Nanaw both took pictures of Robert the orangutan but not very many photos of Chase.

Happy Easter! Chase, Mama, Daddy went to Uncle Chuck’s for Easter dinner—there were about 30 people there!. Before they left home for Uncle Chuck’s, Mama took wonderful pictures of Chase and Sam with bunny ears. Nanaw posted Chase’s on her Facebook page and got lots of nice comments. Uncle Mike read Chase’s new caterpillar book to him, and Nanaw videotaped it. Everybody also celebrated cousin Robbie’s 16^th birthday.
