In the early morning, Chase and Nanaw went for a walk, then Chase spent time in his Einstein flying saucer, rolling around on the living room floor and sitting in his bumbo chair. He went downstairs to watch "Pound Puppies" on the big TV.

Chase and Nanaw went for a walk, and then Chase played in his Einstein flying saucer – he seems to like it a lot. Nanaw came back for barbecued chicken for dinner. While Daddy grilled, Chase, Mama and Nanaw kept him company in the WE bar. Chase sat on the bar and Mama showed him a Bud Light. After dinner, Chase ate peas, which seem to be his favorite food. The Mama gave Chase a bath and for the first time, he held on to the sides of his little whale bathtub. Mama read "Spot Loves His Mommy" to him – he now has seven books towards his first goal of 10 books read in the Baby Book Club at the library. Sam’s toy of the day was a pull toy he chose for himself.

Chase spent the day at Nanaw's house, and he and Nanaw went for a long walk in the subdivision. Chase has a television and DVD player in his room, so today he watched his Pound Puppies, Miss Spider and Spot DVDs there. Nanaw set up her iPod Classic with a speaker in his room so he can listen to music, but to begin with, he probably won't listen to Nanaw's AC/DC albums. Mama sent along three outfits for Chase to change into, and they were all so cute that Nanaw had a difficult time selecting one.

Chase and Nanaw went for a walk first thing in the morning, then they went over to Nanaw’s house to work on the church website. When Chase went back to his house, he watched Pound Puppies on The Hub – we think it might be his favorite television show. In the evening, Nanaw took Chase's kitties and TJ for a walk in the cat stroller -- Mama would have been so embarrassed! Sam's toy of the day was the purple monkey -- a present from Joe, Jen and Jackson when they visited on Saturday.

Chase and Daddy went out to visit Grandma Pat and Aunt Patty. Mama stayed home and took Sam for a walk and cleaned the house. Nanaw came to visit when she got home from Aspenhof – she took pictures and played with Chase and told him all about the adventures his kitties had at Aspenhof this weekend.

Nanaw stopped to see chase on her way out to Aspenhof, and she and Mama took pictures. Chase’s friend Jackson came to visit in the afternoon, along with his Mom Jen and Dad Joe. They brought presents for Chase (a jogging stroller and a farm) and for Mom and Dad (four barstools for the WE Bar, the bar on the patio that Daddy built. Nanaw sent Chase a photo of the kitties curled up asleep on the rocking chair.

On Friday morning, chase and Nanaw went for a long walk in her subdivision. Then they went for their adventure of the day: going to the telegraph road Library to sign Chase up for Baby Book Club. After Mama, Daddy and Nanaw read books to Chase, he wins a prize. Then after another 10 books, he wins another prize. The Laptime sessions at the library count as a book read. Nanaw also checked out two library books for Chase: Baby signs : a baby-sized introduction to speaking with sign language. and Fuzzy duckling. After the library, Chase sat in his flying saucer and played before (with toys on the tray) and after (with toys on the floor for Nanaw to pick up.
