Chase and Nanaw went for a long walk first thing in the morning, with chase in the jogging stroller. He seems to like it a lot because he can look around at everything. They spent time out on the patio at the bistro in the WE bar. Chase was in his tropical flying saucer. Then they went on their adventure to the Columbia Library, the Telegraph Road Library and Walmart. The most exciting thing was finding out about the Babygarten program at to the Columbia Library every Wednesday morning at 10:30 for babies 0 to 18 months. So now Chase will have a weekly story time place to go. Sam’s toy of the day was his red and green caterpillar.

Chase and Nanaw went for a long walk in the jogging stroller, then spent time out on the patio at the WE bar. Chase was in his tropical flying saucer and seems to like it a lot. Sam’s toy of the day is his barn.

Chase spent the day at Nanaw's house, and they took a long walk in the subdivision. This was after Mama brought them home from the car repair place. Nanaw had dropped off her Escape to have the breaks fixed -- they were making a noise, and Nanaw didn't want to drive with baby Chase if there was something wrong. Chase wore his shoes and managed to remove the shoe and sock from one foot. When Mama was finished working, Mama, Chase and Nanaw went shopping to buy Father's Day presents for Daddy.

Today's big adventure was Chase and Nanaw's visit to the Telegraph Road Library to pick up his prize for reading his first 10 books in the Baby Book Club. The prize was a set of keys that makes interesting noises. For the second 10 books, he'll win a book.

On Sunday, the Southerland family spent lots of time out on their patio / WE bar/ bistro. Daddy grilled ribs, and Nanaw came for dinner, which also included Bush's beans, buttered noodles and fruit. Yum!

On Saturday, Mama, Daddy, Chase and Sam went for a long walk to the library park and discovered that the fountain in the park is now on. In the evening, Mama and Daddy went to the Cardinals' game with Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky, and Nanaw spent the evening with Chase. They went for a walk in the jogging stroller and watched the baseball game on the big TV downstairs.

Chase was at Nanaw's house today, and they went for a long walk in Nanaw's subdivision. Chase ate rice cereal. followed by peas; then Nanaw fed carrots to Chase for the first time, and he really liked them -- as shown in the photo below, which Nanaw put on Facebook. Mama went out to dinner with her friend Little Bar Kristie, then went to the WE bar and took a picture of Chase and her strawberry daiquiri.
