Nanaw came to visit baby Chase before she went to Aspenhof. Mama brought in lots of toys that Chase hasn’t played with yet, and he had fun on the floor with them. Mufasa was posing on the goodbye shelf and got his picture taken. Chase had on his Mom is cranky tee-shirt so Nanaw took a picture of it. Saturday night was Uncle Stan’s 31st birthday party, and Daddy took a picture of Chase yawning.

Baby Chase is seven months old today! First thing in the morning, he tipped over his bouncy chair, and Mama got a good photo of his activity. He spent the day at Nanaw’s house while his Mama worked at home. Chase and Nanaw went for a long walk in her subdivision. Then they went to the Telegraph Road library and checked out three books for Chase: two Martin Waddell books (he’s the author of one of Mama’s favorite children’s book – "Owl Babies") and "Little Quack’s Opposites" – which Nanaw read to Chase when they got home. Chase seems to enjoy watching his kitties Kole and Taylor play with TJ. Friday evening Chase went with Mama to have dinner with Lisa of Office Team at Tequila’s.

Chase and Nanaw went for a long, early-morning walk in his subdivision. Chase spent a lot of time playing with his toys in three of his four activity chairs. He listened to the books recorded by Mama and Daddy, then Nanaw read the Cardinals ABC book to him. He ate squash and blew raspberries with it so it was quite messy. At mama’s request, Nanaw took a photo of Chase and Sam together for her "I Love My Mom" photo frame. Sam insisted that his black and white rope toy be his toy of the day.

Chase and Nanaw went for an early morning walk and then did their big adventure for the day: going to the Columbia Library for Babygarten, the song and story time for babies. Carter and Audrey were the other babies there. Chase and Sam had similar toys of the day – houses with toys inside them.

Daddy took another day off from work but had things to do so Chase came over to Nanaw’s house while Mama worked at home. He spent a lot time zooming around in his Bugaboo Flyer Saucer Chair, and he seemed to enjoy talking to his reflection in the oven door. While Chase was in his swing playing with a book, his kittie Taylor curled up for a nap in the rocking chair next to the swing. Nanaw came over for a delicious Swiss chicken dinner. Chase ate an Arrowroot cookie in his high chair and got cookie everywhere.

Daddy took a day off from work and spent the day with Chase for a father and son adventure. Nanaw came to visit before she went to the St. Peters library for a mystery writer presentation. Daddy grilled steak and chicken kabobs so Nanaw stayed for dinner.

Daddy came back from his float trip in the monring, and Chase was happy to see him. Mama made special roast beef in the crock pot. Nanaw came to visit after she returned from Aspenhof and Mama invited her to dinner. Chase has another tooth and Mama bought baby tooth medicine for him.
