Chase’s first adventure of the day (not counting an early morning shopping trip to Walmart) was lunch at California Pizza Kitchen with three of Nanaw’s friends (and Nanaw, of course): Kate, Kelly and Peggy. Chase was an absolute charmer at lunch – saying Hi, giving the ladies high fives, smiling the whole time, singing, coloring – all in all, being the cutest baby ever. He had a sausage and mushroom pizza and two glasses of lemonade – the lemonade was his favorite. In the evening, Chase got to run around the back yard while Mama and Daddy had a Friday night at home happy hour with Aunt Becca and Uncle Stan.
