When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he said he brought his religion book and math book home to study for his two tests on Friday. He also brought his clarinet home to practice for Thursday night's band concert. At Nanaw's house, he did 15 minutes of AR reading even though there's no reading log this week. Then he did four long division problems Nanaw made up for him. He played his clarinet for Nanaw and the guys, pretending that he was giving them a concert. He briefly looked through his religion book, and Nanaw said he would have to study harder with Daddy tonight and tomorrow night. Mama called and said that Cole's Mama wanted to know if Chase could go to the little library park to play with Cole and Brady. Nanaw had Chase finish up his religion studying (it's an open book test), while Nanaw packed up the guys and the rest of Chase's things. At the park, Chase, Brady and Cole played with the bats; played red light, green light; playing basketball with the soccer ball; and played on the playground. They only stayed about an hour because it got dark -- and it was very cold -- Nanaw was freezing. Chase and Nanaw got to see the beautifully decorated house across from the library; they also drove up the street across Rueck from Chase's street to see the house at the end of the street with all the wonderful decorations.
