Chase and Daddy went to church on Sunday morning. Then, later in the day, Chase finished up his Cam Wood training. The training consisted of 30 days of hitting practice with a special wooden bat that has thicker portions in it. It's supposed to improve his batting results. He places a baseball on a stand, then hits it into the net. Nanaw is not sure how many hits he has to make or balls he has to hit but it's a lot. He's supposed to rest every once in a while. Nanaw is very proud of his determination and hard work. He says he will probably do the Cam Wood training again sometime. Nanaw came over for dinner of grilled chicken (wings, legs and breasts), Suddenly Salad, and Tater tots, with delicious Schnuck's brownies for dessert. Nanaw wanted Chase to go for a ride with her to try to find out where they're dumping the dirt from the Creekside Park work but he didn't want to go. He no longer wants to go on any of Nanaw's adventures -- so sad! But they had years worth of adventures so that's okay. Daddy has the day off tomorrow so he and Chase are going to the Rawlings Experience again. Daddy is going to bring Chase over to Nanaw's house in the afternoon.
