Chase had a busy, active, fun three days. Daddy was off work on Friday, so he took Chase to his workout in the morning. After that, Chase and Daddy went golfing for a couple of hours. Mama said they golfed at their regular place but Nanaw is not quite sure where that is so she’ll have to investigate. Mama reported that Chase’s friend Hunter and his family were down in southern Missouri and got evacuated because of the flooding there. Thank goodness they’re all right. It stormed in Columbia and at the little house on Friday night, and Mama thought Chase’s baseball might be rained out, and it was. Mama sent a picture of Truman and Tee Tee hiding in her office while Chase was taking a shower. After his shower he rescued them. On Saturday, Mama had a plan for her and Chase to clean out the bookcase in the living room. She said it was boring but necessary. They’re getting new flooring so everything will be moved around. Mama said Chase did a great job in cleaning off the shelf and didn’t complain, which Nanaw is sure made Mama happy. They went to dinner at La Fiesta, and Mama said that’s all she had to report about Chase’s Saturday. On Sunday, baseball was rained out again, and Daddy and Chase went to mass at their regular time. After church, he and Daddy played mini golf in South County, and then they went to Dick’s where Chase bought a soccer ball. In the afternoon, Chase and some of his Bears teammates had a baseball adventure. They went to the Bud Dome in South County in the afternoon to play baseball. Mama sent pictures of mini golf and baseball in the Bud Dome. She’s a very good reporter and photographer for Days of Chase.
