Chase’s first adventure of the day was going to the brand new Schnucks in Columbia that replaced MarketPlace. As usual at any store, Chase got comments from customers and employees about how cute he is. After Schnucks, Chase and Nanaw went to Walmart, Chase’s first visit to his favorite store in over a week. The checkout lady gave Chase a folded piece of paper and when he opened it up, it was a smiley face that she’d drawn for him. He seemed to like the picture a lot and kept it clutched in his hand all the way to his house (Chase and Nanaw spent a couple of hours there while the cleaning lady was at her house). While Nanaw was changing Chase’s diaper there, he was standing on the changing table and he leaned over and bit Nanaw’s shoulder – the first time he’d ever bitten her. Evidently, he’s done it to Daddy so this is something to watch out for.
