Mama said Chase got sick to his stomach last night and threw up in the kitchen and in the bathroom -- poor little fellow. It was Nanaw's day to volunteer in Chase's classroom and she had a wonderful time painting with the boys and girls. She took a paint shirt so that she didn’t get all full of paint. When she arrived at the kindergarten area, all the children's shoes were lined up outside their lockers. Andrew told her it was because their shoes were all muddy from playing outside at recess, and the teachers didn't want them tracking mud into the classroom. Chase was happy to see Nanaw come to work in the classroom; he came up and gave her a hug and so did Amelie and Alyssa. Nanaw got paint on her black pants but not on her paint shirt. The boys and girls painted snowmen, and Nanaw thinks they had a good time. After school, Chase and Nanaw went to the library where Chase played with the eyeball Legos. Nanaw bought fruit strips for him out of the vending machine. When Nanaw took Chase home, she got to see Sam's new haircut -- Mama had him shaved today. He looks like a different puppy.
