Chase was in a cute, funny mood on Monday morning when Nanaw picked him up. He was teasing Mama and laughing a lot. Mama and Nanaw really like it when he's in a good mood like that. When Nanaw took Chase to school, she had fun with Amelie, Henry and Evan about how short they sharpened their pencils. On the way home from school, Mama told Nanaw that she'd emailed Chase's teacher Mrs. Neff and arranged for Nanaw to volunteer in Chase's class. Nanaw is going to read to the class every Thursday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. Chase was very excited about that and so is Nanaw. Mama said it was Daddy's idea, and Chase told Mama to tell Daddy thank you for his plan. At Nanaw's house, Chase played with his Winnie the Pooh computer for a long while, then he and Nanaw went into his room to play. When Nanaw took Chase home, Daddy was still at work so Mama told Chase they would work on his homework and get it done before Daddy got home. Mama told Nanaw Chase did not like that very much but once he got started with the homework, he stopped fussing and seemed to enjoy the schoolwork. It's always that way with the little fellow.
