Happy 4th of July! 2019

Chase had quite the adventure on Thursday afternoon with his Mama and Daddy. They all went out to Brady's grandma's house outside Waterloo. She has a lake, and Chase went swimming and Daddy went fishing. Daddy caught four fish. Chase's friends Hunter, Mason, Emma and Brady were also there and they all went swimming. So did Mama. Chase had a great time jumping off the dock into rubber rings in the lake. They stayed for a really long time and had a really great time. When they got home, it was time to go up to the park for the fireworks extravaganza. Nanaw came over to Chase's house so she could go along with them to the fireworks. Daddy drove the truck up there and dropped off Mama, Chase and Nanaw, then took the truck back home. Brady and Emma and their parents were there, along Hunter and Mason and their parents. The fireworks were absolutely fabulous. Unfortunately, Chase threw up in the middle of the fireworks, but he wanted to stay for the whole show and not go home. They all walked home, in the midst of the Columbia traffic and pedestrian jam.
