Chase and Nanaw spent several hours downstairs on Friday. Chase had a chicken nugget TV dinner for lunch downstairs. He played in the playpen with his stuffed animals and then with Nanaw's tablet while Nanaw walked on the treadmill. In the afternoon, school went well although it was shorter than usual because of the planned adventure with Mama at 4 o'clock. Chase just wanted to do subtraction and nothing else but Nanaw made him do most of his workbook pages. At a little before 4, Chase and Nanaw went to Chase's house. First, Mama, Chase and Nanaw went to the library. Nanaw had packed up Chase's books to return them; Mama had books to return also. She had run out of library books Friday morning and was happy to be able to check out more books -- an also pay for her library card. Nanaw checked out a book -- The Plot -- and a movie -- Proof. After the library, they went to the Walmart Dollar Tree. Mama bought $27 worth of merchandise, mostly toys and candy for Chase. Nanaw bought $4 worth of ice cream for Chase and microwave kettle corn for herself. The first picture was Nanaw's failure at taking a picture of Chase's glow in the dark skeleton jammies. The second picture is a headline from the newspaper bout about the sunflowers Mama, Chase and Nanaw are going to see next Tuesday. The third picture is of the new excellent Roblox game Chase created -- about a theme park. Nanaw was so impressed by how great the game is. The sixth picture is of the leather folder that belonged to PawPaw that Mama is going to use for her speech when she officiates at cousin Nichole's wedding.
