Today was cleaning lady day so Nanaw was rushing around in the morning, getting everything picked up and put away. When all was ready, Chase and Nanaw went downstairs. Nanaw took snacks and drinks for Chase, along with the guys, the tablet, Nanaw's iPad and book, and the newspaper. Nanaw walked 15 minutes on the treadmill and watched her soap operas. Chase played with the tablet, then got into the playpen to snuggle with his stuffed animals. He didn't want to go back upstairs when the cleaning lady was done but finally he came up. For lunch, he had cauliflower, mac and cheese and chocolate milk. Mama forwarded the class list to Nanaw. Chase has Mrs. DonJon, whose husband is the police chief of Columbia. Connor, Cole and Brady are in Chase's class. And Evie is in his class also. Chase did much better with his schoolwork when it was time for school. Nanaw made some four-digit subtraction problems for Chase to do because of the problem he had yesterday with the subtraction problems and borrowing and regrouping. He did okay but not great. When Nanaw took Chase home, he told her she was the best grandma ever, which made Nanaw very happy. Mama had already left to have dinner with Brady's mom and Hunter's mom at Washy's. Chase was so excited because Daddy had put up his new swimming pool and filled it with water. Chase and Nanaw went outside to look at it and to test the water -- it was warm enough for Chase to get in, after he did some baseball practice with Daddy.
