Today began a major exciting adventure for Chase and his family: the annual trip to Rockbridge. Chase was a really good traveler, napping part of the time and playing with toys and books the rest of the trip. He loved running between the connecting bedrooms and made a game out of it. Starting with lunch, Chase charmed all the waitresses all weekend, saying "Hi" and smiling at them and watching everything that they did. Mama, Sam, Chase and Nanaw spent the afternoon walking around Rockbridge, much to Sam’s delight – he loves walks. In the evening, everyone tried to watch a wretched disaster movie about weather, but fell asleep instead.
