Chase’s big adventure today was going to Clayton Laptime. He didn’t go last Friday because of the Rockbridge fishing trip. He was very independent and didn’t want to sit on Nanaw’s lap – he walked around where Nanaw sat and did some participation in the songs by himself. Next week, Nanaw will again use the books and toys in the backpack to distract Chase and keep him on Nanaw’s lap. On the way home, they stopped at the Telegraph Road Library and then went to Chase’s house to let Sam out – no puppies today. After his nap, Chase had "school" and watched the Scout phonics DVD and played with the new flash cars from Dollar Tree. He went "outside" -- his favorite place – on Nanaw’s deck and didn’t want to come in. He finally did and then Nanaw chased him around the house as he pushed his little vehicle. On one of the Channel 9 programs in the morning, they used the notes from Beethoven’s 5th, so Nanaw and Chase kept saying that. Mama said Chase said it during dinner. Nanaw bought it from iTunes and will play it for Chase when she visits Saturday. Mama sent Nanaw a photo of Chase playing in piles of leaves in the back yard. In the evening, Mama, Daddy and Chase went to Tequila’s for dinner, and Chase did his dipping thing with chips in the cheese sauce.
