Before Nanaw’s afternoon doctor’s appointment, Chase and Nanaw had a day at home playing in Chase’s room and having school downstairs. Chase had fun piling up toys and stuffed animals behind the rocking chair in his room. During Nanaw’s doctor’s appointment, Chase played with Nanaw’s iPod, amazing the people in the office with his ability to manipulate the device. Before Mama came to pick up Chase and Nanaw for their shopping adventure, Chase was coloring in his high chair, and he managed to pretty much destroy his box of crayons. On the shopping adventure, Mama, Chase and Nanaw went to Walmart for Jackson’s and Daddy’s birthday presents. Nanaw bought Chase a little Thomas the Train and an Etch a Sketch – but Mama said Nanaw had to wait to give the Etch a Sketch to Chase until it was for a special occasion – we’ll see how that goes! The shopping adventure also included Babys R Us and Sports Authority, and ended with a feast from McDonald’s that they ate at Nanaw’s house.
