On Monday, Chase had the day off from school for his Easter break, and Mama brought him over to Nanaw's house early in the morning. Nanaw was so happy to see him, and they had a wonderful day together. Of course, Chase played on his tablet and on the computer too much but he and Nanaw did do several things together. They had another Easter egg hunt; Nanaw hid ten of the plastic eggs in the living room and dining room, and Chase searched for them. He did really well finding them but Nanaw had to give him some hints on the difficult ones. They went out to sit on the front porch (which Nanaw cleaned off yesterday). Nanaw read an article from the Answers book about how mountains are created. They also went downstairs and sat on the lower deck. Nanaw put the pad on the lounge, and Chase stretched out on it. They snuggled on the couch with Chase's stuffed animals. They watched Teaching in Room 9, and Chase's favorite teacher, Mrs. Forth, did one of the segments. Chase was very excited about that. In the evening, Chase had batting practice for his baseball team. Chase is in group 1 on the team, which means he'll play tomorrow in their first game. Mama has a hair appointment and won't be there till late. Nanaw plans on going if she can. The last picture below is a bouquet of flowers from their front yard that Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky brought Nanaw for Easter.
