On Wednesday morning, Chase and Nanaw didn't do any studying for today's English test because they thought Chase knew the material well. Chase wasn’t too happy about his late hockey game on Wednesday evening. He had to be out in Wentzville by 7:10 p.m., and he wouldn't be home after the game till after 10:30 p.m. So he wouldn't get as much sleep as he usually does. Today, Nanaw had lunch with Brady's grandma and Andrew's grandma at Reifschneider's, a restaurant in Columbia. Nanaw was excited because she had a Reuben sandwich, her first ever. It was delicious. After school, Chase worked on his math and then on his Mockingbird vocabulary. He asked Nanaw if she had recently gotten any of his graded papers from Mama, and Nanaw said no. He was looking for one of his geography papers that he needed for tomorrow's open book test in geography. The paper had somehow ended up in the recycling bin, and Mama had retrieved it for Chase so that was a good thing. Thursday's night's adventure is for Daddy, Mama, Chase and Nanaw to go to Santa's Magic Kingdom out on Highway 44 to see all the Christmas lights. Nanaw is very excited. Nanaw forgot to take a picture of Chase so he took a selfie and belatedly sent it to Nanaw, after she texted to remind him. Neither of them were doing a good job at remembering today.
