When Nanaw picked Chase up on Tuesday morning, he was wearing the Minecraft jammies that Nanaw bought for him. For school work, he did his morning work and then spent a long time working on his April journal. Nanaw showed him how to do an outline (or notes), then a draft and then the final journal entry. He wrote about his Easter and drew a picture of the Easter bunny hiding Easter eggs. After the journal writing, he did some of the workbooks. Nanaw told Chase that as soon as they could, they would go to Dollar Tree to get more workbooks. Nanaw let Chase spend 200 of his Robux on a game pass and a coin toss in a Roblox football game. For lunch, Nanaw shared her pot roast with Chase; he also had ham and applesauce. In the afternoon, Nana did the hard addition facts with Chase. He did really well. Nanaw thinks if she does the flashcards every day, Chase will be able to start memorizing them. Mrs. Meyer sent an activity packet with 50 pages of things to work on. She also scheduled another Zoom session for tomorrow at 2 p.m. Mama sent Nanaw one of the pictures below from three years ago of her and Chase at the Zoo. Someday we'll be able to go again.
