It was pouring down rain when Nanaw picked Chase up from school. Nanaw tried to hold her umbrella over him but he still got a little wet. They stopped by Chase's house to get his retainer and the guys. Instead of going straight home to Nanaw's house, they went to the library so Nanaw could return books and pick up a book on tape. She brought along a book for Chase to read on the way: Curious George Goes to a Parade. Chase read it and then fell asleep. At home, Nanaw got out Chase's heavy reading book and they talked about his reading assignment and tomorrow's reading test. Nanaw gave Chase Baby Bells and other cheese as a snack, along with yogurt and applesauce. Chase played on the computer for awhile before Nanaw took him home. Unfortunately, Nanaw forgot to pack Tee Tee in the bag of guys. In the evening, Mama sent Nanaw a text about the missing Tee Tee, then Chase and Mama called Nanaw. Mama said Nanaw shouldn't bring Tee Tee to Chase. Nanaw said she had a fire in the fireplace or else she would.
