Once again, Chase was excited about going to Camp Invention. Today, everybody wore hats. Chase wore his Cardinals hat. Once again, Nanaw took a picture of Chase when she dropped him off. She also talked to the registration lady about the photo permission, Mama was sure she'd checked the box giving permission so Nanaw asked the lady to make sure. She said yes. In the Camp Invention newsletter for day three, they talked about the boys and girls challenging their thoughts and thinking of new ways to do things. For Collaboration, the newsletters says that through teamwork, they’re learning to show empathy and acceptance of people and ideas. After camp, despite Chase's protests, Chase and Nanaw went to the new Telegraph Road Dollar Tree. They really liked it. Chase especially liked that they had ice cream. He selected cookies and cream and birthday cake. Nanaw tasted the birthday cake ice cream and it really did taste like birthday cake. They bought a Snickers and a Reese's peanut butter cup.
