Today was Chase’s 17-month birthday. Mama had the day off and she, Chase and Nanaw spent the day together on lots of adventures. First, they went to Bee Tree Park, where Chase went on the baby swing and the slide. He really liked going down the slide and laughed a lot. They walked around the mansion and one of the workers turned on the fountain so Chase could see the water, which he really liked. Then they went down to the lake and walked around the lake trail. Next, they went to West County Mall, where they went to Macy’s and Barnes & Noble. For lunch, they went to Chick Fil A in the food Court and Chase had delicious chicken nuggets. On the way out of the mall, they had Cinnabon cinnamon rolls. Next, they went to the Best Buy and Carter’s Store on Manchester. When they got home, they took Sam for a walk at the big park by the schools. Chase played on the playground and the swings and slides. There was a 14-month-old little boy who was talking on the swings with Chase. Mama wished that Chase could talk like AJ but we know it will happen eventually.
